Frequently asked questions

What time should authors arrive?

Authors are to arrive at 9 am to set up their tables. Each author should be ready to receive the readers by 10:30 am. The breakdown of the tables is at 4:20 pm.

How many people can sit at my table?

Each author will have two chairs at their table.

Can I sale other items besides books?

Authors are allowed to sell other items besides books. The table must be 85% book-related. For example, if you sell candles, three books, and stickers with your book covers on them. Most of the table must have the books and stickers as the main focus.

If I can't stay all day, can I leave early and will my fee be discounted?

If you can't stay all day, please let us know so we can have you seated so that your absence will not leave a gap in the flow of the tables. If you have to leave early, your fee will not change.

I am not a black author, can I still participate in the Expo?

Of course, you can! We accept all authors. Our platform is designed to allow black authors to collaborate, meet new readers, and support one another.
